Son charged with murder in Oakville woman's death
A man has been charged with second-degree murder after his mother was found dead at a home in Oakville on Monday night.
Police were called to 1243 Sheldon Ave. — near Third Line and the Queen Elizabeth Way — at about 8:30 p.m.
Inside the house, police found Judith Wilson, 62. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her son, 39-year-old Ryan Porte of Oakville, is now charged with second-degree murder and will appear in court today in Milton. Police say no one else was in the home at the time of the incident.
