Shooting leaves man, 25, in critical condition

A 25-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting near Martin Grove Road and Eglinton Avenue West early Tuesday.

Police responded to a 911 call at around 1:15 a.m. and found a man in or near a black Honda Civic suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The car was parked outside an apartment complex on Willowridge Road.

"Police tell me the man is still clinging to life in critical condition," reported CBC's Trevor Dunn from the scene at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

No arrests have been made and no other details been released as the investigation continues.

A woman was with victim when police arrived and is being questioned.
