If warmer weather lures you outside this weekend, be aware of road and TTC disruptions that might put a kink in your plans.
There is no subway service on Line 1 — still better known as the Yonge-University-Spadina line — between St. Clair West and Lawrence West stations on Saturday due to track maintenance. Shuttle buses will be running and normal service is expected to resume Sunday.
Eglinton Avenue is closed west of Dufferin Street until 4 a.m. Monday as work continues on the Eglinton Crosstown light-rail line.
And Sunday marks the 27th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, which means closures on major routes in the downtown core.
The parade starts at 12 p.m. at Bloor St. West and St. George Street. It will head east to Yonge Street, south to Queen Street and west to University Avenue.
