Lots of spring showers are headed to the Greater Toronto Area and much of southern Ontario over the next two days, with as much as 40 millimetres of rain possible.
“A low-pressure system will bring showers and isolated thunderstorms to Southern Ontario beginning this morning and continuing Thursday,” Environment Canada said in a special weather statement today.
“Showers may be heavy at times and could result in local rainfall amounts in the 30 to 40 millimetres range.”
Higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.
