Power has been restored to all of the 6,000 customers in Brampton who were hit by a blackout earlier this evening.
Hydro One Brampton said at 8:30 p.m. it had restored power to the last of it affected customers.
The outage was caused by a piece of electrical equipment called a "termination" the utility company said via Twitter.
The lights first went out at about 6 p.m. near Sandalwood Parkway and Dixie Road, and was restored in stages over the following two and a half hours.
