Toronto police have released security video and an image of a woman accused of insulting, threatening and spitting at a TTC driver last October. 

Police say the alleged incident happened on Friday, Oct. 30 at around 5:40 p.m. near Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West.

A woman boarded the bus, suddenly turned around and approached the driver and began to insult and threaten him, police say.

The video appears to show the woman spitting at the driver twice. The driver stopped the vehicle on Bathurst Street north of Finch Avenue East and the woman exited the bus.

Police describe the woman as of Russian descent, around 50 years old, with light brown, collar-length hair.

Police say she wore a dark winter coat, sunglasses, purple leggings and brown boots.
