Toronto police are appealing to the public for help in identifying two suspects after a woman was held against her will for 28 hours and sexually assaulted on the weekend.

According to police, a 35-year-old woman was walking near the intersection of Dundas Street and Keele Street at around 12:10 a.m. ET on Sunday when she was approached by two men in a white vehicle.

The men physically assaulted the woman and pulled her into the vehicle, police said. The woman was then taken to an unknown location and sexually assaulted by both suspects.

About 28 hours later, the victim was able to escape from her captors and ended up in The Queensway and Park Lawn Road area.

The first suspect is described as black, between 40 and 55 years-old, between 200 and 300 pounds, and bald with a mustache.

The second suspect is described as black, in his twenties, five feet eight inches tall, between 150 and 170 pounds, wearing glasses and a tattoo of a cross on his left forearm.
