Police are searching for a man who broke into a home and sexually assaulted a woman Friday night.

Police are searching for a man who broke into a home and sexually assaulted a woman Friday night.

A man broke into a home in the neighbourhood of Jane Street and the 401 Friday night, made his way to one of the bedrooms and sexually assaulted a woman who was sleeping, according to police.

The woman’s father said she was taken to hospital and treated for her injuries.

The suspect is described by police as a white man, between 20 and 30 years old, with acne or a pock-marked complexion.
