Toronto police are searching for a blue Mini Cooper that allegedly failed to remain at the scene after striking a pedestrian in downtown Toronto Monday morning.
The collision happened around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Sherbourne Street and Bloor Street East.
Police report that the Mini Cooper was last seen heading southbound on Sherbourne Street. Investigators say the blue car has white rims and is missing a white side view mirror.
Paramedics say they transported the pedestrian to hospital with minor injuries.
Police ask anyone who sees the blue Mini Cooper to call 911 immediately.
Bloor Street East was closed eastbound at Sherbourne Street for the investigation, but has since reopened.
