Toronto police are warning the public about an online ticket scam.

Police say someone posing as a seller of One Direction concert tickets on Kijiji, is taking people's money and not delivering.

Tanya Serrano says she sent the seller a $220 deposit for two tickets to the summer concert for her nieces and never heard from the man again.

"I feel duped but I feel bad that this is the way that a person has to live their life. Like, I feel sad for him that he has to live his life, being untruthful to people, lying and deceiving and manipulating and conning people," she said.

Serrano has since taken out her own ad on Kijiji warning others of the fraud and says she has heard from others who have also been scammed.

On Friday afternoon police said they had arrested a man and a woman and charged them in connection with the scam.

Michael Heys-Walsh, 21, and Emily Fraser, 23, have been charged with fraud and uttering forged documents.
