Police concerned for safety of missing man

Police are searching for a 67-year-old Toronto man with mild cognitive difficulties who was last seen on Boxing Day.

Police are searching for a missing 67-year-old Toronto man who was last seen on Boxing Day.

Patrick Joseph Monaghan was last seen on Dec. 26. around 1:20 p.m. at a Mississauga McDonald's restaurant in the area of Erin Mills Parkway and Millcreek Drive.

Monaghan suffers from mild cognitive difficulties and is from the Toronto Beach area.

He is described as white, five feet seven inches tall, about 170 pounds, with blue eyes and short curly, grey hair. He was wearing a blue bomber-style jacket and speaks with an Irish accent.

Monaghan is driving a 2006 four-door red Jaguar. The Ontario licence plate number is BNHT714.
