Police chase suspects after Mississauga home invasion

Police search for four suspects after a home invasion in Mississauga sent one man to hospital.

Police searched for four suspects in a Mississauga neighbourhood after a home invasion that sent one man to hospital. 

Tactical and canine units and a number of other officers converged on the area of Burnhamthorpe Road and Mill Road at around 8 p.m. Friday after reports of a robbery at 2120 Rathburn Rd. East. 

The incident left one male victim with minor injuries, according to Peel Regional Police. He was taken to hospital. 

The suspects were said to be armed with machetes, wearing ski masks and dark clothing. One of the suspects is white, the others are black, say police. 

Officers were at one point involved in foot pursuit of the suspects.
