Police arrest man in alleged TTC bus sex assaults

The Toronto police have made an arrest in a string of alleged sex assaults on the route 100C Flemingdon Park TTC bus.

Toronto police have made an arrest in a string of alleged sex assaults on the TTC's 100C Flemingdon Park bus.

Officers from 54 Division arrested Ahmad Ayoubi, 35, of Toronto, on Monday and charged him with two counts of sexual assault.

On Oct. 21, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a 31-year-old woman boarded the bus at Broadview station.

She was sexually assaulted by a man, who then went on to sexually assault another woman on the same bus, police say. On Nov. 13, the same woman saw the man again on the bus, assaulting a woman.

Police believe there may be more victims.
