Toronto Police have arrested three men and a teenage boy for breaking into the same Scarborough home twice within a week last year.

Investigators say a man was robbed in his home by four male suspects in the Ellesmere and Markham roads area on November 30, 2015, at around 3:40 a.m.

The man was robbed a second time by the same group just one week later on December 7, 2015, at around 2:15 a.m.

In both home invasions, the man was assaulted and robbed of personal property, according to police.

A 25-year-old man from Toronto, two 19-year-old men from Markham and a 17-year-old boy from Toronto are now facing charges for the alleged break-ins. 

The three men have been charged with the following:

  • Two counts of robbery with a weapon.
  • Two counts of disguise with intent.
  • Two counts of forcible confinement.
  • Break and enter.
  • Theft.
  • Mischief.
  • Possession of property obtained by crime.

The 17-year-old boy has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime. 

Police say they were able to identify and arrest the men on Jan. 21 thanks to assistance from the public.
