Peel Regional Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 42-year-old man who they consider to be armed and dangerous.

Police allege the suspect, who goes by the name JLOGIX in the Toronto entertainment business, was involved in a Dec. 7, 2012 home invasion in Mississauga that left Ibrahim Abukar, his 22-year-old accomplice, dead.

Abukar, 22, had invaded a home on Corkstone Glade, near Rathburn Road and Dixie Road, around midnight along with two other men when the trio were confronted by the homeowner, police said. Amid the struggle, Abukar was fatally shot.

Jason Hamilton is wanted for manslaughter in connection with Abukar's death. Police are warning the public not to approach him and to contact authorities immediately if they see him.

Investigators describe him as:

  • 6'0 tall
  • 180 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Has a scar on his forehead

Peel Regional Police said a 36-year-old Toronto man has already been arrested in connection with the case and charged with robbery with a firearm.

That suspect was arrested in the U.K. and police said he is appealing his extradition to Canada.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police directly or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
