Pedestrian critical after being struck by a car in Markham
A man in his 30s was critically injured Tuesday night in Markham after being struck by a vehicle, according to York Regional Police.
The man was hit near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Markham Road at around 10:45 p.m.
He was rushed to a local hospital and later airlifted to St. Michael's Hospital in critical condition.
He is still in intensive care.
