Police are investigating — but many questions remain — after two teenage boys were stabbed overnight near Rogers Road and Keele Street.

Emergency crews were called to the area at about 1 a.m. by reports of shootings, but investigators later said the victims had, in fact, been stabbed.

Police found a 16-year-old with stab wounds inside an apartment at Keele Street and Nashville Avenue. The 17-year-old victim was found outside at a nearby gas station, according to police at 12 Division.

Both are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. But neither the victims nor witnesses are co-operating with the investigation, according to police.

While police say the two incidents could be linked, investigators are treating them as separate incidents for now.

Anyone with information is asked to call 12 Division at 416-808-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
