More charges in missing real estate agent case
Three men face kidnapping and manslaughter charges in the case of Jianguo (Tony) Han, a missing high-profile real estate agent from Markham, Ont., who was abducted in January from a home in Mississauga he was trying to sell.
Senthuran Sabesan, 23, of Waterloo, Ont., was arrested Wednesday. Sabesan was originally arrested in January on kidnapping charges. Police announced Thursday Sabesan has also been charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault.
Also facing manslaughter and kidnapping charges are Gobinath Shanthkumar, 23, and Sohiab Malik, 21.
Tony Han was abducted in January from a home in Mississauga he was trying to sell.
Johnny Fei, the homeowner, was also abducted, but was found a few days later.
Earlier this week, Peel police said human remains found in a Markham-area home may be the body of Han.
Police won't confirm if the remains found at the house in Markham belong to Han but are saying the investigation did lead them there.
An arrest warrant is outstanding for Guo Wei Wu, 43. He is believed to be hiding out in Vancouver.
Han was a well-known real estate agent, dealing in high-end properties, particularly representing clients in the Mandarin-language community.
