A man was sent to hospital after being stabbed Friday night in Mississauga.

The incident happened at 9:40 p.m., south of the Queensway and Hurontario Street area, Peel police say.

Two suspects were arrested on the scene after a short pursuit, according to police.

The victim, who was stabbed in the torso, was taken to a Mississauga local hospital. He was in serious but stable condition as of 12 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

Two 17-year-old men have been charged in connection to the stabbing, police said.
