A man was stabbed Sunday morning in Mississauga and police are now on the hunt for two possible suspects.
Peel Regional Police responded to a call about a stabbing at about 11:45 a.m. near Britannia Road and Joseph Street, which is near Queen Street in Streetsville. Authorities found a 48-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Paramedics say he was transported to Credit Valley Hospital in serious condition, but the injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Police closed Britannia Road for multiple hours Saturday afternoon as they used police dogs to search the area for the two possible assailants, to no avail.
The road has reopened and the investigation continues.
