Police find boy who went missing in downtown condo
Nearly 100 officers joined search
Toronto police have located a three-year-old boy who went missing inside a downtown condo building on Friday evening.
The boy was separated from his father on an elevator on his way home from school around 6:20 p.m., but was found about four hours later.
Sgt. Jesse Van Nest said police launched a "level three search" for the boy, which included some 100 officers. Eventually the boy was found inside the building, though police couldn't say exactly where he had been.
"The main thing is that he's safe and sound," Van Nest said.
