Mayor Rob Ford gets fish gift
A gift from one mayor to another is raising a stink at Toronto city hall.
But instead of a political scandal, it's an 18-pound salmon caught by Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion and given as a gift to Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.
McCallion caught the fish at an annual salmon derby on Lake Ontario just off Port Credit.
McCallion had her catch packed in ice and drove it to Toronto city hall, so Ford could have the fish for supper.
"You'll have a good dinner tonight, you won't have to go to a restaurant," McCallion told Ford on Thursday as she presented the fish to Ford and posed for the cameras. "It will feed a lot of people so you can feed all kinds of guests."
