Toronto Police are looking for a man after he allegedly sexually assaulted a teenager in a dollar store checkout line.
Police say the man approached the girl from behind and squirted a liquid on her at a Dollarama near Eglinton Avenue West and Dufferin Street Friday afternoon.
He then assaulted the girl as he pretended to help her clean up.
Toronto Police Detective Dan Luff said it was planned and follows similar attacks in the past.
"This is indicative of robberies that have been done in the past in a similar fashion. People squirt something on the victim and then pilfer them as they attempt to clean them up," Luff said. "Here it appears he committed a sexual assault."
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his late 30s to early 40s, with a shaved or bald head.
