Man taken to hospital with stab wounds

A man was taken to hospital following a stabbing near George Street and Dundas Street before 3 a.m. Tuesday.

A man was taken to hospital following a stabbing overnight.

The altercation involved six to seven people at the corner of George Street and Dundas Street at around 2:45 a.m., according to police.

The 32-year-old man suffered stab wounds to the abdomen that were considered serious but not life threatening and was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital.

Police say they have one suspect in custody.
