Armed suspect sought after man stabbed in Mississauga home invasion

An 18-year-old man was stabbed in a home invasion in Mississauga Friday afternoon, Peel police say.

Suspect armed with knife, possibly a gun, police say

Peel police are searching for an armed suspect, after an 18-year-old man was stabbed in a home invasion in Mississauga.

Officers were called to a home on Kirkwall Crescent, near Bloor Street and Fieldgate Drive, around 1 p.m.

A suspect entered the home and stabbed the man, according to police. It is unclear whether the suspect and victim know each other or whether any items were taken from the home.

The man was transported to a trauma centre.

Police later confirmed the man suffered non-life threatening injuries

Police say the suspect is armed with a knife and possibly a gun.
