Man found dead in Regent Park apartment

Toronto police have taken two men into custody in connection with a "suspicious death" in the Regent Park neighbourhood.

Police say a man's body was found on the 15th floor of an apartment building at 220 Oak Street, near Gerrard Street East and River Street on Monday morning. 

The man suffered serious head wounds and police says they are treating it as a suspicious death.

The body was discovered just after 6 a.m. by another resident of the building. 

Police say the victim was also a resident, but have not released any information on his identity, other than to say he appears to be in his 50s.

Two men have been taken into custody but police have not released any further information.
