A passerby found the man with his ankles bound on Winston Churchill Boulevard near Old Pine Crest Road, according to police. The passerby brought the man to the nearest police station and police transported the man to a Georgetown hospital.

He was treated for hypothermia and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Halton investigators called in Peel police when the man told them he had been taken from the Matheson Boulevard and Kennedy Road area in Mississauga.
