Man in critical condition after vehicle hits pole in Guildwood
Toronto police have reopened a stretch of Kingston Road that was closed following the crash
A man was rushed to hospital in critical condition after a vehicle hit a pole then crashed through a fence near Kingston Road and Guildwood Parkway in Scarborough early Sunday.
Brent Goodwin, deputy commander of Toronto Paramedics Services, said paramedics received a call about the single vehicle crash at about 12:43 a.m.
The injured man was taken to a trauma centre.
Kingston Road, which was closed from Dale Avenue to Guildwood Parkway as police investigated, has been reopened, according to Toronto Police Service's 43 Division.
