Man charged after 2 TTC sexual assaults
Police suspect others might have been attacked
A man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault after two women were allegedly attacked on public transit over the weekend, Toronto police say.
Police say at approximately 3:50 p.m. Sunday, a girl was sexually assaulted by an unknown man while on board a Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway train at College Station.
Authorities add that shortly after the first assault, another female was sexually assaulted at the TTC's Bloor-Yonge Station. Police say they are still trying to locate the second female involved and suspect other victims may be involved.
A 52-year-old man has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.
