Man, 29, dies after being shot in head near Keele and Dundas

Toronto police say a 29-year-old man has died after he was shot in the head near Dundas Street West and Keele Street Monday night.

Toronto police say a 29-year-old man has died after he was shot in the head near Dundas Street West and Keele Street Monday night.

The man was found suffering from a single gunshot to the head, according to paramedics who then rushed him to hospital where he later died.

Police say they have not identified any suspects.

Officers blocked off Keele Street in both directions from Dundas Street West to Annette Street after the shooting but the area has since been reopened. They were called to the scene after 7 p.m. Monday.

Const. Jenifferjit Sidhu said police are canvassing the area and checking to see if there is any security camera footage available of the incident. 

The victim's name has not been released because police are still notifying next of kin, she said.
