Male pedestrian struck and killed in city's northeast

A 70-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle in the city's northeast Sunday night.

Victim believed to be 70-years-old, police say

A 70-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle as he was crossing the street in the city's northeast Sunday night.

Police responded to the call near Sheppard Avenue East and Victoria Park Drive shortly after 7:30 p.m.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sheppard is closed from Pharmacy Avenue to Victoria Park as police continue their investigation.
