Lotto Max winning ticket in $60M jackpot sold in Toronto

There is one winning ticket for the $60-million jackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw, and it was purchased in Toronto.

There is one winning ticket for the $60-million jackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw, and it was purchased in Toronto. 

Three second-place prize-winning tickets, worth $159,177.80 each, were sold in Brampton, the Burlington area and Toronto. 

There were also 29 MaxMillions prizes of $1 million each available in the draw, and seven of them have either been won outright or are being shared.

Three of those were sold in Ontario, including a $1-million ticket in the Milton area, another $1-million win in Owen Sound and a $500,000 victory in Windsor, shared with another ticketholder. 

Three Encore tickets worth $100,000 each were sold in Brampton, Milton and Orangeville. 

The Lotto Max grand prize was last won Feb. 5, when a resident of Desboro, Ont., held a ticket worth $60 million.

The jackpot for the next draw on March 25 will be approximately $32 million.
