Kitchen fire sends 3 to hospital

Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a kitchen fire early Monday in the area of Leslie Street and Lawrence Avenue East.

Toronto firefighters responded to an early morning kitchen fire Monday near Leslie Street and Lawrence Avenue East.

The fire started just before 4:30 a.m. at 2715 Grangemill Crescent.

Paramedics took three people to hospital with minor injuries. One person suffered burns to the face, arms, and legs. Another had burns to the feet. One other person was treated for smoke inhalation.
