Kieran Louza, the 14-year-old girl who had gone missing on Wednesday at 3 p.m., has been found safe and sound, Toronto police say.

On Friday evening, police sent out a news release asking for the public's help in locating the teen.

The girl’s mother told CBC News Saturday she dropped Kieran off near Main and Danforth on Wednesday afternoon. She was going to visit a friend.

Kimberly Bill-Louza says Kieran called on Thursday morning to say she was coming home, but then wasn't heard from for two days.
