Police have identified the victim as Linda Scott, 65, and confirmed the two lived together.

Ryan told reporters Scott is known to police and said he may have fled to Quebec. Ryan urged the man to contact a lawyer and turn himself in.

Scott, who is 25-years-old, is described as 5'10 with a muscular build and red hair.

Anyone who sees Scott should contact police and not approach him.

Homicide detectives are looking to speak with anyone who might have information about the case.

This is the city's 21st homicide of the year.
