Many drivers will be paying more to travel on Highway 407 starting Wednesday.
The monthly transponder fee is increasing to $3 from $2.75, while the annual rate will hold at $21.50.
For drivers without a transponder, the video toll charge will move up to $3.80 from the current $3.65.
The per-kilometre cost of travelling the private highway is increasing in most cases on Feb. 1, except for weekend, nighttime and overnight driving.
The 108-kilometre highway stretches from Burlington to Pickering. It began toll operations in October 1997.
