Gunshot victim walks into east-end hospital
Injuries not life-threatening, police say
Toronto police are investigating after a man walked into an east-end hospital early this morning suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say a 31-year-old man walked into Scarborough Hospital's Birchmount campus at around 4 a.m. suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
They believe the man was shot in a restaurant near Finch Avenue East and Midland Avenue about 30 minutes before he walked into the hospital. So far there is no suspect description.
