Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne sat down with CBC's Queen's Park reporter Genevieve Tomney to talk about funding Toronto transit and the province's pension plan, two issues that will be part of her campaign in the new year.
"What I know is we need to make those investments," Wynne said.
But she says the province's coffers are already lean, and the $2 billion required to fund transit projects around the city can't be squeezed out of the existing budget.
"To expect that we can find the revenue to continue that billing is just not realistic," she said. "We need to have a new revenue stream."
