Toronto police have publicly identified one of the suspects in the death of Neeko Mitchell and are seeking that individual on a Canada-wide warrant.
Mitchell, 25, was shot dead outside the North Kipling Community Centre last November. Police said it was a targeted attack.
The victim had gone to the community centre to see his brother play in a basketball tournament.
Police previously revealed that they had been seeking three suspects in connection with his killing.
On Thursday afternoon, Det.-Sgt. Brian Borg told reporters that Reshane Hayles Wilson, 23, of Mississauga, Ont., is being sought on a warrant for first-degree murder.
His current whereabouts are unknown.
Borg said that Hayles Wilson should not be approached. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
Police are still investigating the homicide, but Borg said investigators believe they have identified all of the people involved in the victim’s death.
