A Greyhound bus travelling from Toronto to Chicago collided with a semi-trailer truck in central Michigan sending 11 people to hospital and leaving the driver of the bus briefly trapped, several local reports say.
Three dozen passengers and a driver were aboard when the bus crashed into the truck on westbound Interstate 94, between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Mich., at around 10:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, CBS News Chicago reported.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle but was not hurt.
A video published on a local Michigan newspaper's website shows the bus's front end to be completely mangled as the vehicle is separated from the back of the truck.
Local police told CBS that none of the people taken to hospital were seriously hurt and all were expected to be released.
