Gregory Nikolopoulos said he discovered he'd won on Saturday morning.
"I screamed really loud," he said.
Nikolopoulos went and woke up his son, who wasn't sure what to make of the moment initially.
"He thought one of the dogs had died, or something happened or I was having a heart attack," Nikolopoulos said.
His wife and daughter weren't home for the news, as they were visiting the Dominican Republic together.
"We were just doing the happy dance," Tammy Nikolopoulos said Monday, describing the very unexpected news that she and her daughter received while in a phone booth.
