Gardiner Expressway cleared after multi-vehicle crash

Multi-vehicle crash brought westbound traffic to standstill

A crash involving more than 20 vehicles blocked Toronto's westbound Gardiner Expressway near Dufferin Avenue for much of the morning commute.

The crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. ET Friday and stalled westbound traffic on the Gardiner. Vehicles were backed up all the way to the Don Valley Parkway. The backup was cleared a few hours later.
Toronto paramedics received calls to take two people to hospital with minor injuries.
