Fresh Air is CBC Radio's weekend morning show — radio worth waking up for!
Every Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., we bring you a showcase of voices, stories, events and ideas that make Ontario lively and interesting.
On tap for Saturday: theatre for babies! Chris checks out a production of One Thing Leads To Another by Young People's Theatre, a play recommended for ages 24 months and younger. He speaks to the creators about how they make theatre for the very, very young. And with Thanksgiving fast approaching, it's a good time to take stock of everything we have to be thankful for. Not just for our frame of mind, but our physical wellbeing too. Longevity columnist Sharon Basaraba looks at the many health benefits of gratitude.
Sunday on the show: We look back on the life and career of Canadian abstract painter, Jack Bush. The McMichael Canadian Art Collection is presenting some rarely seen works by the late Canadian icon with its current exhibition, Jack Bush: In Studio. We'll speak to curator Sarah Stanner and Bush's son, Terry.
