For the second time in a week, Rob Ford is dancing
Mayor and speaker cut a rug on council floor
In a rare moment of jubilation on the floor of Toronto City Council chambers, Mayor Rob Ford and Speaker Council Frances Nunziata danced for a few minutes.
It's the second time in a week the mayor has been seen dancing. Ford attended a gospel choir on Sunday and was filmed dancing there.
A jazz group — Jay Douglas And The All Stars — was in council to perform Bob Marley's One Love and an original called Christmas Carol Blues.
Ironically, Nunziata and Ford had a confrontation earlier in the day in which she asked for the mayor's apology. He said in return, "How about, 'I am so sorry'? Is that as good as I apologize? Or, 'So sorry?' Which one do you want, Madam Speaker? Like, 'Super, super, super, super, super, super, super sorry? So sorry?' Do you want me to dance around?"
Council has had difficulty through its agenda without fireworks in recent weeks, after the mayor admitted to buying and smoking crack while in office.
