Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Toronto and surrounding area this morning, warning of reduced visibility of 200 metres or less.
The advisory is in effect for the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Halton, Peel, York and Durham regions.
“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near zero visibility,” the weather agency warned.
The fog is expected to dissipate later after the morning commute.
Porter Airlines has issued a travel advisory for potential delays due to the weather at Billy Bishop Airport.
Passengers are advised to check their flight status before arriving at the airport.
