Fire in electronics store closes stretch of Warden Avenue

Toronto police have closed Warden Avenue from St. Clair Avenue East to Eglinton Avenue East after a fire in an electronics store.

Toronto police have closed Warden Avenue from St. Clair Avenue East to Eglinton Avenue East after a fire in an electronics store.

Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook said the fire was reported at about 9:15 p.m. on Monday. A caller reported "lots of smoke coming from the roof" at 746 Warden Avenue near Upton Road.

Police closed Warden Avenue to traffic while firefighters worked to put out the flames. It was not yet out at 11 p.m. 

No injuries have been reported.
