Eastbound Gardiner reopens after crash near 427
4 sent to hospital, jaws of life used
Four people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash on the Gardiner Expressway this morning.
The crash happened just before 3:30 a.m. near Kipling.
A stalled car on the eastbound Gardiner with four people inside was struck by another vehicle. The jaws of life were needed to remove one victim, who was stuck in a vehicle for more than an hour.
The crash reduced the eastbound Gardiner to one lane, before it was re-opened to traffic just after 6 a.m.
