A transport truck crashed through a guard rail on the Toronto bound Queen Elizabeth Way on Friday morning.

The truck burst into flames, completely destroying the drivers' cab.

It happened just after midnight on the eastbound QEW near Bronte Road in Oakville.

Witnesses told police the truck was cut off by a speeding car, which resulted in the crash.

The driver of the truck managed to escape without any serious injuries.
