Downtown stabbing sends 2 men to hospital

Two men are in serious conditions after a stabbing in downtown Toronto early Sunday morning.

Incident happened at Adelaide and Peter streets, EMS said

Two men are in serious conditions after a stabbing in downtown Toronto early Sunday morning. 

The incident happened around 3 a.m. near Adelaide and Peter streets, according to emergency crews. 

One man was stabbed three times in the torso, while the other was assaulted and suffered a head injury, EMS said. Both are expected to recover. 

The dispute started outside a nightclub on Peter Street and continued to Adelaide and Peter streets, according to police. 

Toronto police are investigating.
