A man was stabbed and transported to hospital after a fight reportedly took place outside of a bar in Scarborough.

A man was stabbed and transported to hospital after a fight reportedly took place outside of a bar in Scarborough.

The incident occurred Saturday at around 3:30 a.m. at 3458 Danforth Avenue, just west of Warden Avenue.

Paramedics say they transported the male victim to a local trauma centre with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Toronto police at 41 Division refused to comment on the matter when contacted by CBC News this morning.

There are no other details available at this time.
